XPages and Me

My Journey into XPages Development

Monthly Archives: February 2014

In case you wondered…

… why I didn’t continue my post yet:

I am starting a new job in March and I am getting ready to move to California and don’t have much time to work on my blog, unfortunately.

As soon as I get settled in, I will continue posting new blog entries.

Thank you for your patience.

Closed Dialog box reappears when clicking on Refresh button in browser

I came across this problem and I was wondering if any of you ever encountered it and if so, did you find a solution for it:

  • Open a DOJO dialog box on your page in the browser. The dialog box should be coming from the XPages Extension Library
  • Click either on the cancel button if you have one or the X in the top right corner of the dialog box.
  • Click on the refresh/reload button of your browser.

What happens is, the dialog box reappears.

Now, I know that users wouldn’t usually do these steps I described above, but it could happen.

So far, I haven’t found anyone else describing this problem, let alone post any solution for it.

Your thoughts, comments?

XPages Tip: Setting a Date Field with @Now

Ran into the same issue as Brad and thankfully I found his blog and this entry:

XPages Tip: Setting a Date Field with @Now.

Thank you Brad for putting it out there.
