XPages and Me

My Journey into XPages Development

XPages is Awesome! XPages + UI Framework (Bootstrap) + Angular.js = Even AWESOMER!

Today, during a meeting where we demoed an application built with XPages, Bootstrap and Angular.js, I realized once again how awesome XPages development is and the endless possibilities it offers, enabling you to tap pretty much any data source and to display the information in an intuitive, sleek User Interface.

Yes, it is true. I love XPages development!

Great to know. Let IBM listen to this and make XPages more powerful. Last week I was at a Google DevFest event. Very nice to see AngularJS. But when you imagine how much tweaking it needed to build and deploy, what we take for granted in XPages Development.,

I know! If you consider, what comes out-of-the-box with XPages and Domino: Install it and you are all set. No need to buy additional tools.

And with the great community that we have, you get all the help and info you need, if you get stuck.

Though I have to say, it would be nice if IBM would provide proper documentation. If the community wouldn’t have picked up the slack, XPages would have died a quick death.
